Finn was such a good boy when he was younger, and all he wanted was to be loved by his brothers and do everything they did. Tommy first shielded him from the gangster life, then used him as a servant, and then said, "so, you're an adult now - do whatever you think is right," without giving him any wisdom lessons first (only "yeah, take girls, be a man").
