Listen, Entp makes sense for this character who turns people away and hides himself in what he succeeds in. He genuinely uses Ne a good amount of the show going through the multiple scenarios that could be happening. Could I be wrong? 100% However this character throughout the show uses Ne and Ti not Se and Fi. I know the constant conversation about gut is what steers people towards ESFP, however when an Entp refers to their “gut” it can be more of a mental intuition that appears sudden for everyone including themselves. Working through a mystery and then picking apart the most likely subjects until the answer pops into their head. Like when Hal suspects John, he actually doesn’t trust his “gut” in that moment instead he tests him, by threatening his family. Then in the car afterwards, he knows. But continues his plan, doesn’t make the whole thing into an argument. Because he’s looking for information. An ESFP in those situations use Se and Fi to feel betrayed by John and might misuse the time in the car to create an argument. Again, it’s been about a month since I’ve seen the show. But since the results are so 50/50 I thought I’d share my thoughts. Couldn’t be clearer.
