What sets Claire apart from her Fi-dom friend Layne is that she maintains a deep desire to be accepted by the Pretty Committee, something Layne scoffs at and even Massie with her inferior Fi finds embarrassing. But Claire’s Fe is good enough that she actually uses it to succeed in this desire. She is very tuned into the social dynamics of the group and uses that to her advantage to get in. When she wants to, she is arguably more adept at subtly manipulating the social dynamic than even Te-dom Massie, who manipulates others with threats and force but occasionally hard misses when it comes to picking up on social cues. Si-Ne > Ni-Se because she’s excited to move to Westchester in theory (inferior Ne) but in practice she struggles hard to find her footing in such a new environment and to fully shed her old self.
