Ian is interesting because he's basically the opposite of Bear. Bear turns everything into a fantasy. Ian treats life like something to be experienced. The billion-dollar wish tells you everything about him. Reality is collapsing and his first thought is still, "Wait, I can get a billion dollars?" People call him shallow, but I think he's just direct. He wants something, he goes after it, and he doesn't spend months romanticizing it first.
