What personality type is Zach (S8)? Zach (S8) is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/so - in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, in Socionics.
i can’t concretely explain his Ni but just the way he speaks and the way he acts I can tell it’s dominant. He constantly speaks in metaphors and abstract ways and he’s constantly trying to predict things and think ahead. when he came the next day to tell Kayda that he doesn’t want to be closed off even though the previous day he said that they were it was because he projected ahead and saw that it could cause problems in the long run. or when he told kayda that they shouldnt do too much because what if someone else comes in, he projects ahead in a way that really only makes sense to him but doesn’t make sense to anyone else listening. I think he just lives in the future a lot and is scared f what is to come and doesn’t live in the present of his current connection. It also just the way he feels like he’s manipulating everyone quietly feels very Ni-Fe even though i don’t think he’s actually manipulating people, hes just once again only making predictions that make sense to him with his Ni but aren’t really based in reality Edit: I saw the Ne argument but actually after today’s episode (June 25 Casa) I’m still sticking with the Ni-Fe typing of him. One thing that stood out to me was when they got the postcards, Zach’s immediate thought was not to be upset at Kayda’s kiss but to realize that the Villa also got postcards and that Kayda probably got photos of him and Alannah kissing and that she was going to take it the wrong way. And then he felt bad that he made her feel bad in this projection of the future. Now, he was right, spot on even, but there was still a chance that the Villa didn’t get postcards or Kayda didn’t get pictures of him kissing Alannah or Kayda took it well and didn’t hold it against him but he didn’t consider any of those alternate possibilities, he just reacted to the projection that he had determined in his head. Yes it’s probably the most logical conclusion to make anyways but I think it’s the immediacy of how he made it and didn’t even focus on how the pictures made him feel but the long term implications of it. And him feeling bad that he potentially made Kayda feel bad shows Fe imo, he wasn’t thinking about his own feelings at all but rather how he affected someone else. One thing also I haven’t seen anyone mention is that he also uses Ti pretty frequently. I think his introverted logic is also why he’s pretty hard to understand, he makes deductions according to his own logic and is also focused on scrutinizing the logic of others. Like when the girls kicked out Gabriel, the thing that bothered him the most was not understanding the logic of the decision they made. also for his enneagram, 3??? really??? just because he talks about a game plan? what about him gives 3? I think he’s a 6. Everything about him gives that he’s worried about the future and constantly trying to prepare for it which is why he can seem so calculated but it’s all just anxiety and overthinking. I could potentially see a 9 argument but not 3
