背景
Secretive, compassionate and friendly(compare to most Ko-Matorans), Matoro considered himself inferior due to his earlier occupations. Still he did his best to fulfill his new duties. Formerly a Toa Inika and Toa Mahri of Ice, he saved his friends and the Great Spirit Mata Nui (from dying) by donning the Kanohi Ignika——the Mask of Life, and tragically killed himself to become one with the mask, although death was never his greatest fear.
