ENTP: Ne – Ti – Fe – Si This is what happens for an ENTP in isolation: Chuck Bigsley. I'm planning to finish alot of analysis for this cast so I'm running out of intro ideas ahahhahah anyways let's start off on WHY his main function is Ne, this function is Extroverted Intuition which they chase ideas and possibilities (similarly to Thomas) and can hold contradictory intentions. Now let's take a look at Chuck who used to work for the government who wanted to weaponize the virus but he in turn wanted to create a cure instead, hi Ne is playing both sides of the chess board because this way the possibilities doubles for him. Another Ne trait is that his ambitions are too big because he wants to control the virus, cure it and also understand it, he's not a very ethical Scientist thats organized and stuff like Saps (although their experimental methods are similar) that's why he's a Ne–Ti scientist. Which leads me to my next point of his secondary function; Ti in which this way works like Chuck detaches emotionally when analyzing and justifies his morally gray actions logically like for example he agrees to work for a corrupt system because it gives him funding in which he rationalizes it by saying he can still do what he wants to do with it. His secrecy is also fron his Ti as he keep his true intentions hidden and even built a bunker underneath the city by the sewers. Fe "Extroverted Feeling" which is not stable in ENTPs because it shows up in burst yk how commonly ENTP mask and only open up those who they truly connects with that's Chuck with Lyra becaus3 he told her EVERYTHING about his research, dreams and ambitions and then wha5 happened? She disappeared. To him this was the cause of his emotional vulnerability..he feels responsible and grows more Unstable. His Fe got hurt and is retreating. Si (inferior in ENTP) which is Introverted Sensing becomes of a fixation on past mistakes/paranoia to this user because Chuck lives alone for years now thats why he acts coo-coo by watching people on his spyglass to check if theyre real and fixates in Lyra's disappearance, he's letting the past haunt him.
