I cannot say that Mia's personality type was straightforward. Overall, she's written to be a well-rounded individual. I briefly considered _NFJ—in alignment with the first consensus—due to Mia ultimately seeming like a closure oriented individual, and seeking a holistic resolve in order to be able to make peace with the outcome of the assessment. What makes me believe she prefers Introverted Feeling (Fi), Extraverted Sensing (Se) however, is for one, her continuous emotional authenticity all in remaining controlled and subdued. Mia often showcased a high level of tolerance, and acceptance for circumstance and other people all in remaining emotionally honest and compassionate. She strives to act, at all times, in alignment with who she is, seeming to reason in terms of "What kind of person would I be if I do or don't do ____". As highlighted by her sudden withdrawals when acting out of character (e.g. connecting with Virginia despite retentiveness towards the process, slapping Evie across the face after being humiliated). In addition, from my understanding, this Introverted Feeling aspect paired with Extraverted Sensing results Mia seemingly seeking—above all—sensory experiences that are faithful to reality. She has no desire for things that are artificial and curated, even if they—to an extent—fulfill a certain emotional need. For example, when Aaryan sculpted an infant, but it had no smell, her enthusiasm was slashed by the reality that it was not a real infant. Or when she expressed frustration with the role-playing required for the assessment: "I want a real child!" Aaryan in contrast to Mia, had his eyes and intentions set continually on the outcome of the assessment (↔ "This is how we get a real child!"), and took all measures he believed were required of him—even desperate ones—to guarantee success (...) in my opinion, reflecting an approach more characteristic of Introverted Intuition. By comparison, Mia seemed more grounded, and in constant state of reflection on the actions she was or was not willing to take to succeed the assessment. Showing critical thinking, especially when ethically challenged. Ultimately, by the end of the movie, Mia pursues true connection with the (old) world (...) away from artificiality or the restrictive and curated society they were now living in, which is only fitting given the information we are given about her. In sum, Mia has above all a self-referential personality framework, that is characterised by emotional veracity, openness/freedom, tolerance and compassion for all that exists. She seeks to engage with reality in an unprocessed, unfiltered way. To further illustrate her preference for Introverted Feeling (...) Mia is primarily able to come to terms with reality not based on understanding of a greater vision or pattern (Ni), or based on understanding the norms on which others operate (Fe), but rather by leveling with others emotionally, as exhibited in the confrontation with Virginia/Grace. Elizabeth Olsen's performance helps elevate this character (...) a truly wonderful and well-written character.
