Akihiko being typed as e3 is insane to me. Just because the author said he's e3 doesn't mean anything, he's in no position of authority to draw knowledge about enneagram from. How on earth can someone who couldn't care less about how he's viewed in a community, who finds it annoying to have fans and doesn't attach any value to the fact that he already (unintentionally) is popular be in the very center of the image triad? "He's e3 because he's succes-oriented" is such a superficial way of thinking. That "succes" you identify with e3 is a desire for social recognition. Does Akihiko have desire for social recognition? Because I've only seen him express dissatisfaction with already having it. His "succes-orientation" is nothing else than determination to achieve his goal, to be strong. "Success" is something different for everybody, but people in this community associate this wide definition of what something as subjective as success is with one enneatype. Every single type can be ambitious and strong-willed. Desire for physical power at the core of one's character has nothing to do with e3. Akihiko is in no way driven by what society perceives as admirable, desirable or prestigious, he resents having that kind of attention, he's not concerned with how his actions will make him appear in other people's eyes, he doesn't desire admiration, he's not e3.
背景
Akihiko Sanada is a playable character from Persona 3. He's one of the founding members of S.E.E.S., a student at Gekkoukan High School and the captain of the boxing team who supposedly has never lost a single match. He's popular among girls at school because of his cool demeanor and many achievments in the sport, but he's shown to pay no attention to popularity, even expressing irritation when approached by his fans. A respectable and dependable upperclassman, Akihiko desires strenght to protect the ones he cares about above anything else, perhaps to the point of obsession. He's a tough, determined person who's also a bit socially awkward, he's nervous while talking to girls and sometimes fails to understand social cues.
