Yes, an idealist, but not an Ne user. He is stubborn and bullheaded in his idealism, in true Ne PoLR fashion. In the scene where Rebecca is giving birth, Dr. K wants to discuss what they would want to do, should anything go wrong, and Jack adamantly refuses to even give it a second's thought. He believes it will go well, and no other possibility is worth considering to him. In the last episode of Season 1, we're shown that Jack had been set up on a date with a woman he never got to meet before he met Rebecca. Upon telling her this, she says, "I wonder who she was." Without missing a beat, he replies, "I never have." Jack shows time and time again that he finds pondering alternate possibilities pointless. Blatant Ne PoLR.
