Kim Jiseok is a main dancer and Maknae (youngest) member of the group Big Ocean, born on March 5 2003 in Korea. Born hard of hearing, he wears hearing aids and graduated from Seoul Samsung School. Before being scouted by Parastar Entertainment during a performance, he spent a year and a half auditioning across the entertainment industry. Though he initially kept his trainee status secret from his parents out of fear, they fully supported him once they found out. Jiseok is also an accomplished athlete, having competed as a ski racer for the Seoul Para Ski Team at the 20th National Winter Sports Festival for the Disabled. Known for his poker-faced expression—earning him the nickname “AI”—he stands out for his modeling talent and powerful dancing. He enjoys working out, prefers cats over dogs, dislikes bugs and favors thriller movies over comedies. His favorite K-pop groups are BTS and BLACKPINK.
