Starshine is said to have a wild spirit. He doesn't like riding in trailers and prefers wide, open spaces. Starshine is the fastest of the Soul Rider's horses. He loves star cookies. Starshine was kept in the Jorvik stables and was considered a "good-for-nothing horse" after being unable to perform in the Jorvik arena. Only Lisa, the new girl in town, knew that a dark power was gnawing at him from within. Lisa agreed to help him and rode for the first time in many years. Moments later, Starshine was overcome by a dark force and collapsed in the arena. He was taken to the stables to rest, but during the night, he was kidnapped. Desperate to find Starshine, Lisa and her friends searched for clues. They soon discovered that the Dark Core was behind Starshine's disappearance after finding a crate labeled "DC Barricade." They soon realized it is an abandoned Dark Core warehouse, and Lisa traveled there to rescue Starshine.
