Tired of these posts like the top comment getting upvoted to oblivion when they simply refuse to factor in the vice and virtue as if it has nothing to do with the type they advocate for. Reducing the 8 to a core fear of not wanting to be dependent on others or weak in the face of fear is such a disservice to enneagram typology and y’qll gave it over 100 likes and awarded it to oblivion. Do you guys fail to see how this overly general and superficial interpretation of the 8 leads to the unreasonable comparison tbetween silco and Vi as if they have any cognitive similarities in their relationship to their vices? Silco exhibits no lust. It is plain to see that Silco is a deep thinker about intentions, the future and why people do what they do. He is a planner that considers the outcomes of events and plans accordingly with future foresight. Typing Silco as an 8 is truly a measure of one’s typology knowledge.
