Aglaea is an extraverted feeler. In Jungian, feeling is defined as a focus on the 'beautiful' and 'good,' in comparison to the thinking attitude which is characterized by its concretistic thinking and digestion of external facts. As far as hobbyism is concerned, thinkers will adapt to more practical roles in life, as this is the data they consciously orientate themselves to. Compare Aglaea to Dr. Ratio, an extraverted thinker — these two have zero correspondence to one another minus the impersonal coldness that extraverted rationals exhibit. Aglaea's primary focus, outside of serving her nation, has nothing to do with any of the terms previously used to describe thinkers. Instead, bearing the Coreflame of Romance, she seeks to embody the concept of beauty, and maintain a culturally spiritual connection with Okhema. Such an intentionally feminine character will never be a thinker, because the focus on aligning with an ideal of what is considered to be a fundamental of womanhood is explicitly extraverted feeling. At a young age, as shown in character story I, Aglaea's ambition has been to find an existence that surpasses all others in beauty. She became the Goldweaver, and spent her time designing garments in hope of creating a wove so captivating that all will be ensnared, and so that her duty would be fulfilled. Despite the complications leading to the abandonment of hand-weaving in specific, incarnating the essence of beauty, and making sure that society too is aligning with this standard, is still Aglaea’s priority — believing that beauty is the key to harmony & consonance. She wishes to 'iron out' the ugly and purify both her and her nation, bringing cultural finesse to all. Her coalescence with fabrics and the golden threads remind her of the fact that everything in the world is intertwined. This sentimentalism extends to intimacy as well, enjoying bathing with others for the purpose of connection. Due to the type's focus on unitary wholeness, the extraverted feeler loses its personal character, and it is for this reason (rather than lack of feeling, that others have argued) that Aglaea is interpreted as stolid by the cast. Altruism leads to over-exertion, and as a consequence, an absence of substantive identity. This is supported by character story III, in which Aglaea realizes that she is slipping away from herself, yet nonetheless, first and foremost, identifies with the suffering of her citizens. Others have it worse, so she extends. She meddles into the affairs of others, ingesting their tribulations into her own, for these relations and authoritarian yet maternal nurturing are second nature to her. In conclusion, this instinctual yet prideful obligation to cater to her people, prioritization of universal romanticism, proclivity towards beauty & femininity, total comfortability with initiation of intimacy (or in other words, absolute inclination to bear her heart to others, and conversely, receive the hearts of others), and so forth, all solidify Aglaea as an extraverted feeler.
