Classic INFJ, especially based on the restaurant scene in Season 2, when Walter goes to apologize for involving her in the lie about his treatment. What stands out to me is that she doesn't simply respond to Walter's accusations with facts or logic. Instead, she tries to understand how his emotional state is shaping his reasoning. She recognizes that his pride, his resentment toward Gray Matter, and his inability to accept help are distorting the way he interprets events. She essentially deconstructs his thought process (Fe-Ti), explicitly pointing out that his emotions are influencing his reasoning. As a result, Walter is forced to abandon the logical argument he was trying to use to convince her and ultimately ends up revealing his ego and deep-seated resentment. Also, her Ni is also evident when Skyler calls to thank her for the donation toward Walter's treatment. Gretchen deliberately adopts a neutral stance, neither confirming nor denying the lie until she has enough information to assess the situation objectively. She knew that if she denied having donated the money, she would be putting Walter in serious trouble and destabilizing his relationship with Skyler (Ni+Fe)

Gretchen Schwartz is Walter White's old college chemistry lab partner and now co-owner of Gray Matter Technologies, a successful pharmaceutical company. A former romantic interest of Walt's, she is currently married to Elliott Schwartz, with whom she also manages Gray Matter.
