[ 𝟏 / 𝟒 ] 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐒𝐗𝟏 Courtney is probably one of the most stereotypical E1s in animation. So it's kind of surprising that the general consensus for her is SOC3, even though it's not that hard to understand the reasons behind those votes. Being quite competitive, hardworking, or focused on efficiency and success, aren't the only requisites to be a Type 3. What a lot of people seem to forget is that E3 is a chameleonic type; this means that they have the natural ability of deceiving others (and themselves) in order to be approved, admired, and loved. Threes identify with familial and cultural ideals, incorporating them into their sense of who they are. Their chameleonic nature consists in taking on the colorings needed to make a positive impression, so E3s always change their behavior in order to "adapt" to external needs. Other than that, they also tend to be one of the most flexible and easygoing types. Typing Courtney as a type as adaptive and willingly to give up on their own morals and ideals in order to conform to external standards is extremely erroneous. The type 3 dissociates from the self and its values, identifies with an idealized self-image, and thrives on the admiration and exaltations of others. Courtney has been called out a lot of times for being extremely rigid, overly perfectionistic and inflexible, especially when it came to her values and sense of self, not taking too much into consideration how others saw her, to the point that those were the reasons as to why she was so disliked by the cast. Though alike in workaholism, obsession, and control, Courtney is notably more rigid and uptight than the adaptable and sociable enneagram Three. Furthermore, she is generally very assertive and outspoken, rather than conforming and hospitable. She always behaves judiciously, renouncing instinctiveness, emotionality and expressiveness, sharing those traits with the conservative and perfectionistic E1. She is shown to have an extremely judgmental and critical attitude, which reflects how the Anger of the E1 manifests, as they are constantly frustrated with themselves and the world for not living up to their high standards of perfection and correctness. E1's Anger consists in a raging and out-of-control impetus that the individual feels in the face of the existential emptiness caused by the loss of the original condition of fullness. E1s have an attitude of "pushing the river", which demonstrates their inner need to try to modify the context instead of considering the possibility of adapting to it. We see this attitude present in her character since the very first episode, in which she immediately takes charge of her team, irritated by their poor performance, showing an extremely bossy nature that only fuels her team's dislike for her. Following an impulse towards concreteness, perfection and action, we see her taking the leadership role for the Killer Bass during the first season, taking a lot of pride in her past counselor-in-training experience and often bringing it up, though her team is shown to rarely listen to her.
ชีวประวัติ
Courtney has a polarizing personality, but at her core, she thinks of herself as a born leader, which often leads to her not letting others have a chance to take control. Although she is extremely bossy, competitive, critical and even manipulative at times, she can be genuinely civil and polite to her fellow competitors. As an overachiever, she has a tendency to overreact when things go wrong, and drives herself crazy in order to get what she wants. She has become notorious among the contestants for constantly reminding them of her counselor-in-training experience, resulting in their constant annoyance. Throughout her four competing seasons, the severity of Courtney's behavior ranges from generally easygoing to extremely antagonistic. When she wants something, she will fight to the death to get it. She has displayed in several instances that she values the prize money over even her closest relationships.
