EDIT: Took this seriously because I have enough time today and apparently give a rat's behind. Buckle up, buttercups. Dominant Se (yes, sometimes we CAN consider physicality) - Stunt performer in real life, enjoys high-risk, mostly physical activities - Clearly seems comfortable and thrives in an environment like Survivor - Reacts strongly to external stimuli: frustrated when his own or other's physical performance doesn't meet his expectations ("Kyle seems like a sincere guy, but I'd gotten the tribe supplies and we'd be sitting pretty right now") - Shows off his four nipples for "vulnerability" and to encourage human connection and attention. This is very body focused and.... shallow. And also weird? And desperate? - Summarizes how to better understand others' personalities by three things: favorite movie, what car they drive, and how they like their steak. Very surface level. - Finds the immunity clue and instantly wants to do something about it in that moment (little strategic pause to consider social optics; probably felt like "let's get this party started" rather than "what's the smartest way to position myself?" or "if I do this now, how will it affect the game?") - He lives in the now, uses charm and physical presence to lead, and responds to his surroundings directly. Auxiliary Ti (not masterfully developed, though) - Tries to create a consistent internal logic for how the game should be played: honorable physical threats going to the end together, beating the meat shield narrative. Yes, he does see Mary as a real player, but y'all... she keeps up with him and lovingly listens to him. Who wouldn't like that? - Justifies his own actions with his own rational framework, even when it doesn't align with social strategy (claiming Joe to be a liar to his face) - Becomes a bit like a bully and confrontational when his logic is questioned or challenged and can't seem to bend socially in those situations, much less follow back up with people to patch up his social game (God bless him) Tertiary Fe (Underdeveloped. Yes, I said it.) - Wants to be liked, admired, consulted, and seen as the hero but doesn't always read the emotional room well - Shares personal stories as an intentional way to connect but comes across as shallow or performative, like his breakup narrative and living conditions - Misreads group sentiment and lashes out emotionally under stress (again, like calling Joe a liar - why would you do that???) - Gets blindsided socially. Sorry, but this is something to take into account. While yes, I concede that he did "pick up" that Kamilla and Kyle might have something, he did not execute any successful actions on this socially and continued to push people around instead of having real, open, heartfelt conversations And finally... Inferior Ni - Can't see long-term consequences of social actions (Jury-management? What's that? Doesn't matter.) - Doesn't suspect Kyle and Kamilla until it's too late, and misplaces some suspicion on Shauhin and Kamilla (which, I mean, does kinda exist I guess but not fully). - Gets stuck in the idea of what should happen and not what will or is currently happening - Has some gut instincts (suspects things are off) but can't determine a good, strategic idea to follow through with them Lemme summarize. - High-energy, real-world action (Se) - Internal principles and logic, sometimes too rigid (Ti) - A desire to be liked but awkward execution (Fe) - Difficulty seeing long-term consequences of verbal and physical actions (Ni) Enough with this ENFP slander. ---------- Below is me previously (and potentially still) angry about everyone voting him as an ENFP, if you'd like to read it: Please listen. An ENFP would know *not* to tell Joe that "he broke his word." An ENFP would know not to needlessly tell someone like Joe that he lied basically. An ENFP would be able to figure out that Kyle didn't want to vote out Kamilla because HE IS WORKING WITH HER. Not "Oh, Shauhin is working with Kamilla, and Kyle is working with Shauhin." David's social game is nonexistent. He only respects people he can physically compete with; an ENFP would absolutely not let this get in their way. Sure, I can see a physically-fit ENFP respecting other physically-fit people, but letting it make you have tunnel vision and affect how you treat people?? ENFPs have such a good pulse on people and the group vibe, even if they're not part of conversations. ENFPs have a subtle (albeit sometimes loud) way of winning people over through charisma, understanding energy, and supporting people emotionally. They are also very strategic. HOW HAS DAVID BEEN LIKE THIS? PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME. Please, voting him ENFP is an affront to ENFPs.
