i’m gay & proud. for years, i had so much internalized homophobia & i hated who i truly was. i put on a mask so i could feel more sure of myself around others, so i could remain well-liked. i tried so hard to be “normal”, to fit in. & now i’m done trying to be somebody that i’m not. i am proud of who i am. i can’t change this part of myself. i’m a man who is romantically & sexually attracted to other men. there’s nothing wrong with that, there never has been & there never will be! i want all other gay men & boys out there who are struggling to come to terms with their sexuality to know that there’s no rush & that you ARE valid! there’s nothing wrong with being gay, there’s nothing wrong with two men in love. in fact, it’s not just okay for two men to be together or fall in love - it’s beautiful & never something to hide from or feel ashamed of. i wish every other gay guy out there the best of luck in navigating life. just please remember that ur not alone & that you are so much stronger than u know! 🩵💚💙🤍
