Thoughts on ENTP + E8w7? (no correlationalism answers). In most fanfictions Sirius is portrayed as Se dom, usually between ESTP and ESFP. But in CR i think we get a version of him more reasoning and mentally focused, rather than practical and pragmatic. He is still pretty objective, as that's what he has learned works best, but i see a different flavor of him that i rarely encountered in other works: he is intuitive and emotionally/socially aware. He places value and focus on logical analysis, competency, human nature and protection (for him and others). He doesn't show any Fi, his issues with self preservation and self evaluation shows he can't navigate his emotions as well as a Fi user would. He mostly uses a generalized understanding of psychology and emotion to navigate the social realm, which would point towards a strong Fe. He is constantly scanning for possibilities, most likely outcomes and action plans, while constantly checking reality for underlying meanings and motives. That doesn't sound like a Se dom approach, not because they are stupid, but simply because they value face-valie analysis and facts (what they see at first sight). ESTPs are not really speculative and/or mentally neurotic/active as much as Sirius is. His most likely tritype is probably something like 873 or 872. So, that's why i think ENTP + 8 (control, competency, protection) + developed Fe (a tool he uses at his advantage) could be the most likely profile. I am not so sure about Aptitudinal Psyche though.
