Of course we can't type someone only based on their natural instincts to aviod painful death. But I think we could just guess based on their actions. I would say the boy's interaction style and spontaneity in his character gives off an IXXP first glance perception. But let me unfold it: The game immensely lacks Extroverted Feeling and it's like the whole concept of the protagonist boy is a product of Introverted Feeling (or the way someone feel internally towards life) (Fi) The fact that he is able to collect sensory data from (his own) outer world and and showing risk-taking behaviour tells us he might have high extroverted sensing. I don't necessarily see any introverted sensing, or else the game would look like puzzle games where you need to gather lots of data from your desk notes. (Se) I think his character is based on both Extroverted and Introverted Intuition. (Collecting data Based on past experiences to create a model. and coming up with creative solutions) We could argue his dark theme is mostly associated with Ni but I don't really believe that (Ne and Ni) Also the character's life is hugely under influence by his ability to fix the things, i'd say there are some Introverted thinking when you have to figure out how things work. But the whole emphasis is on what it could give us rather than how. (Te)
