"Put your faith in what you most believe in." "Trust your heart." "Let faith decide." - Tarzan's own theme song. Not really a Ti dom's main cup of tea. Tarzan is a dominant Fi user. Throughout the movie, he seems to be led by his own beliefs whether it be in trying to prove his worth in the tribe or in his decision to lead Jane and her team to the gorilla den despite the rules spoken to him because of his romantic feelings towards Jane in hopes she would stay despite the logic behind it or him deciding to lead the gorillas by the end because of the responsibility handed to him by his respected "father" all while still retaining a strong sense of his own individuality. Se is the most obvious one here. He approaches the world in a very engaging manner, always assessing using all his sharp senses and learning things by doing them first-hand. I personally don't see strong Ti in him to be convinced he is an ISTP. I think his fascination with encountering his own kind inspired him to be extremely interested in learning about his kind, but he does not really dig deep in those learnings in the film to be a Ti dom. The movie seems to focus on his personal identity and how he figures out his role in the world. I could understand why some people would see him having Fe inferior function but I think most of it is a case of him being so focused on his own personal values as a Fi dom and not really because of the tribe clashing with his Ti. Also, the guy is discriminated against because of his different appearance. The tribe's leader hates him since birth so that def adds a lot to his struggle to be accepted, not necessarily because he has low Fe. Keep in mind, his main argument against Kerchak's distrust of the company is "Why are you so threatened by someone different from you?". The values he has developed from his own personal experiences and belief system are what drove him to stand up against Kerchak for the first time in the movie, it is not driven from a logical and objective standpoint.
