This type first and foremost has a rigorous work ethic and essentially lives for his goals and innovation. The contrarian description snippets are cool and all but change nothing about this basic fact of the model. ENTP is possible but in no way as likely as ENTJ. LIE often is "absent-minded" just like every intuitive, this has never been relevant beyond said intuitive orientation and the internet "MBTI" mockeries. LIE sometimes fits the ENTP in description but not in applied MBTI nor the Socionics model. The reasoning on this page is so strangely hyperstitional; do most of you tune out when every other extraverted type is described as being just as motivated, cheerful and charismatic? Why don't you go ahead and vote the LSE as ENTP? As the doctrinal jack-of-all-trades, they fit the stereotype even better. This entire page employs an impressionistic vibe-based typing method completely irrelevant to Socionics. It's not even relevant to the actual MBTI [which the experts on Reddit told me is very bad and I will therefore never use, don't worry!]. Perhaps read something other than blog opinion pieces? As for enneagram, LIE is unlikely to strive after power over others and less inclined to seek authoritative positions for the sake of it, they generally care more for wealth and achievement than leadership roles. When they are in a position of authority, they are rather open [democratic] in their approach, can depend on outside opinion. They are reasonable; honesty and rationality are valued over fairness and justice. They may go overboard in establishing their independence (much less so than the more "tryhard" EIE) yet this is also where their self-assertion ends. A "protector" role where they find themselves responsible for the choices of others would make them rather uncomfortable (it's "unreasonable"; it also by definition conflicts with the independent self-realizing nature of the entire Gamma quadra). Anyone who votes 8 likely does not understand either type.
