I’ll have my argument be short because the main voting difference (as of now) is ESTP vs ESFJ. ESFJ: Fe-Si-Ne-Ti ESTP: Se-Ti-Fe-Ni Firstly, Ruth is not an Si user. It has been pretty clear that unlike Kathy, who reflects on the past often, Ruth would rather live in the moment and follow the group (Se + Fe). The best example of this is how Kathy kept her box of memories/belongings from Hailsham while Ruth got rid of it to fit in with others. Of course, she did start reflecting on the past while she was at the recovery center and said how she regretted doing that, indicating inferior Ni because she failed to consider the future possibility of possibly wanting to have her belongings with her but instead she focused on the present moment (Se) fueled by the desire to fit in and follow what she perceives to be group values (Fe). In fact, even Kathy commented on how Ruth wanted to move on from hailsham since they left to be at the cabin. Ruth’s auxiliary Ti is also prominent while at the cottage. She starts noticing how the Veteran students acted as couples (Se) and through Ti-Fe, she though that this is how things are supposed to work so she starts shifting her behavior with Tommy. If I’m missing a couple of points feel free to point that out to me.
