i was really rooting for luca ISFP 8w7 but recent developments have given me the impression she is more of a sexual 4 over anything else. funnily enough, SX4s can be confused with 8s the TFD route (translated here https://youtu.be/uysnohyJrHU) reveals some context to luca's aggression. the game explores the cancellation of a project the duo were very eager to work on, with said cancellation being done (1) without consultation from her as well as (2) mikoto's approval of it. to luca, mikoto gave up, which can explain her reaction when she sees mikoto in the wing commus "The inner motivation is envy, and its manifestation as competition. These Fours don't feel consciously envious so much as they feel competitive as a way of muting the pain associated with envy. If they can compete against another person they perceive as having more than they do and win, they can feel better about themselves." (Beatrice Chestnut) SHHis has what luca lost: mikoto, so every time she has to face shhis, be it physically or not, she is reminded of what could have been and is angered. the TFD route literally starts with nichika on a tv screen and luca saying things like "shut the hell up" from mikoto's flashbacks: - "it's going to be a performance no one but you and i could ever do. a performance no one could dream of imitating" - "me and mikoto, we're gonna do this together!" - "me and mikoto's performance is gonna be the best thing anyone has ever seen!" these lines in itself scream one-to-one/sexual instinct. Riso & Hudson explain in Wisdom of the Enneagram that SX4 experience "intense feelings of admiration, longing, and hatred for object of desire." Moreover, when i first looked at luca's solo lyrics, i thought it belonged to a very poetic 8, but when you look at it while considering a sexual 4, it makes even a lot more sense (lyrics are very roughly translated by google) - "this regret, this sin, this punishment, this pain, all of me" - "this chest pain is my eternity" - "I want to die more, the feeling of inferiority complex is throbbing, throbbing every day" you can see how overtly dramatic and melancholic she is. i think it's also curious how she sings "i don't need the gospel , I don't need idols or worship" but at the end of TFD route, she posts something edgy online that receives a lot of comfort and affirmation. what other purpose would this have other than reminding oneself that they are still valued by others? the "me against the world" fi-te mindset makes luca reject the idea of succumbing to what society demands from her, but the irony in this (both a fi and 4 characteristic, hence intensifying one another) is that luca still clings onto it my argument for her mbti is lacking, but i do think there's something in the way she tries so hard to insist to go ahead with the performance despite the manager's te logic very telling. she seems to have a close relationship with her internal world & suffering, which reflects in her solo. with reference to this and her use of social media, it's like luca keeps people within her grasp by presenting the world her negative emotions from the flashbacks, luca seemed to be an overall pleasant person who treasured mikoto a lot. it's not said directly, but it's a very common narrative in idol stories, so we can assume luca considers mikoto a rival even when they were a unit i would vote for her tritype but im not sure what her head triad is. will conclude she is likely 4-8-x note: vote is very subject to change depending oh how shinymas wants to write her
