Again like what everyone else is saying below, the INTP votes are entirely based of the stereotype of INTPs being shy and rational and the downvotes of INFP votes because of the stereotype of INFPs being emotional, soft and unrealistic. While, INFPs generally are seen as a feeler type, INFP 5w4s go against the stereotype. Therefore, they often put logic ahead of emotions (concluding to most of the INTJ/INTP votes). But because of the unusual pairing of the Enneagram 5 wing 4 and INFPs, most INFP 5w4s are perceived to be INTPs mainly because of their rationality and logic. The introverted feeling (Fi) which is seen in INFP doesn’t necessarily correspond with the 5w4 tendencies. Type 5 is also very rational. Thus, INFPs who have earned the reputation of being emotional might rarely fit into this box. Arguably, one reason why INFPs can be 5w4s is because of a strong Introverted Feeling (Fi). When their Fi is quite strong, it can look like the Introverted Thinking function (Ti). [He was like,] ‘When you have to go somewhere, you have to plan it.’ He had a list” Again, this goes with the point I had made earlier with INFP 5w4s being more analytical. One of the biggest stereotypes about the INFP is they spend the majority of their time fantasizing. However, this type spends that time thinking about various concepts and thinking ahead. They are much more analytical and will more likely to be perceived as a INTP because of their strong sense of rationality and responsibility. Since we haven’t seen much from him, I agree that we shouldn’t be voting him immediately like this but frankly typing him over one of the most common cognitive functions being shown shouldn’t be valid and also voting him being of his 16P test results. + I have a stronger argument for my second explanation under chef_kiss_21’s argument
