I think some people misunderstand what having inferior Fe looks like. The fact that he was a good and helpful friend does NOT rule out being an INTP. He constantly misses social cues, that’s one of his main characteristics, and a recurring joke/theme in the show. INTPs can be very generous and nice - Lewis expresses it through acts of service, but doesn’t get the hint when it’s too much and the girls would rather be left alone. He seems like a Ti dom, constantly trying to understand how “mermaid magic” works, strictly using his own logic and existing knowledge, while using his auxiliary Ne and researching new data & possibilities to place this new found magic in the scientific world (and his own inner logical system). His caring for the girls manifests in constantly trying to research and understand them, trying to solve their problems for them, helping them only in his own ways, disregarding their actual wishes. He’s so immersed in his own “project”, he doesn’t realise at all that Cleo wants him to invite her to the dance, or that this social event is even tonight. He moves very comfortably & confidently in the “logical world”, but becomes quite passive in social/emotional situations, he kind of just goes along with what other people want (it’s how he finds himself in a relationship with Charlotte, but I see it in his interactions with other characters as well, such as Nate). He doesn’t know how to express his feelings to Cleo except trying to solve her problems. Also, I don’t see him as an Ne dom. He basically does 2 things throughout the show: fishing and researching (and trying to make sense of what he doesn’t know, aka magic). His conversation with Miss Chatham really highlights his attitude towards magic: he doesn’t see it as a new possibility, he’s just trying to place it in his already existing logical system, and it stresses him out A LOT that it doesn’t “fit” in it.
Biografia
Lewis has known Cleo since they were 5 years old. He is very clever, and has always helped the girls with their transformation. In Season 3, Lewis goes to America to study science. Lewis appears in Seasons 1-2 and in the first half of Season 3. However, he returns as a guest star in the finale.
