INTJ? What a total nonsense rating. His plan is to escape into space when no rockets go there and no one lives there without even knowing if it's possible. I might even consider this as an Ni-Fi gesture, but an INTJ would have no choice but to calculate HOW to do it correctly or whether it's plausible at all, and consider contingencies if that doesn't work. That's what would come naturally. Therefore this is not an Ni dom, going out on a leg and a prayer as he does. This is an Fx dom entirely motivated by his values using a lower Ni for a vague and passionate end goal. So far, ISFP or ENFJ are plausible. During the movie Meier Link looks allergic to any T function or any sort of strategy beyond running away and trusting others based on social connections, being generally harmless and reluctant to act by himself. Let's remember he's a vampire noble who can't help craving devouring human beings. And despite knowing that, he trusts another notoriously dangerous vampire, Carmilla, with his frail lover's safety and his own life without a question. At no point he attempts to talk D, who's out to kill dangerous vampires, into helping him, instead he tries to sway D by psychoanalyzing him, and saying "it will happen to you too, you will one day fall for your craving of human blood", hoping to make him doubt himself. Summarizing: -Rejects his very nature entirely out of his sense of justice and love. -Hires other people to guard him who he knows will do it out of moral and social obligation. (The Barbaroi are socially and historically bound to help the nobles.) -Lets his beloved indulge in her whims (seeing the sun for the last time) despite the two of them being on the run and it being a terrible moment for him to be vulnerable. -Trusts a dubious character to help him based on her word alone, clueless of the logical implications of it as if those logical things were beneath him or irrelevant -Psychoanalyzes someone clearly out to kill him -Asserts he and D are "destined" to fight (why? No reasons communicated or goals stated, he just feels and intuits that is their connection) A stereotypical ENFJ. We have D as an INFJ to compare too. D follows his goal because he knows that the consequences won't be good if he doesn't. (Ni dom). In contrast Meier is pursuing an ideal based on his desire to keep his lover safe, as she wants to be with him no matter what (Fe dom).
