"People wonder how I feel about getting constantly chewed on by zombies, What they don't realize is that with my limited senses all I can feel is a kind of tingling, like a relaxing back rub". Wall-nut is a recurring plant character within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. They're defensive plants that can't attack back (except in Wall-nut Bowling and Wall-nut Bowling 2), but instead block off zombies with their huge amounts of health. Wall-nut is based on the walnut, the nut/seed, of the walnut trees in the genus Juglans, specifically the Persian walnut (Juglans regia). The name is a portmanteau of "wall" and "walnut," befitting Wall-nut's ability to absorb attacks from zombies and referring to the plant he is based on.
