Subaru Ayase (綾世昴, Ayase Subaru) Voiced by: Ai Kayano (Japanese); Morgan Lauré (English) Yuu's late mother, who entrusted him to the care of the Mikadono family before her death, hoping he would find happiness and a loving home with them.Subaru Ayase seems to have been a complex character who was highly successful in her career, however, she was too preoccupied with her work as an actress and was unable to take care of her son, Yuu. She often neglected him, not spending much quality time with him. Despite her successful career, she secretly longed for an ordinary happy family life, as revealed when she admitted to the hospital.
