Voters continually complain about intuitive bias but constantly use sensory bias. For example, they say running away from home and seeking experiences is Se, not realizing that both Se and Ne seek out NEW experiences… Using broad and vague reasonings for other things, such as claiming INTP voters are using stereotypes about him being “smart” (Which is not even true) while all else, stereotypically saying he left home to experience something as a sheltered kid, and he has skills of an assassin for Se. Fact #1: Both NE and SE seek out new experiences and exploration. This is not just applicable to SE. ➥ “Exploring new places, food, and experiences fuels Ne and allows for deeper and deeper growth.” Both NE and SE are about experiences. So many—and I mean SO MANY—Ne users do this. They are constantly intrigued and seeking out the new. Pitou, the chimera ant, jumped at Netero because they got excited about his aura and energy... It can be ANYTHING in their exploration… That includes exploring anything new and fun in their environments... Let me give you a quick example of this. Riko (ENFP) from Made in Abyss goes on wild, life-risking adventure… She is the Ne version of Gon. She jumps into her environment and does risky and impulsive things... She loves ENGAGING with the world and LOVES the experience... Even when she was told of the dangers, she wanted to pursue her mother's job and fled to go on that journey… Seems familiar? Look it up yourself.. They are quite literally the same.. Same goal.. Same journey, same "in the moment" experiences (I explain more of this about Ne later), “The strange & surreal layout of the abyss, the new creatures & challenges she meets, and the adventure itself alongside her beloved robo-buddy Reg end up becoming more exciting & thrilling than the actual reason she set out on this life-risking journey.” Anyways, Killua seeking out NEW experiences and joining Gon to experience them is not just se… Killua explains to Gon that he does not like his family planning his entire life for him. NE users like seeking out NEW EXPERIENCES…… Killua wanting something NEW for himself is not simply an indication of SE. In fact, SE is more likely to have a go-with-the-flow attitude, which causes them to be more likely to stay with their family. Killua: “I’m not telling you how much pressure my family puts on me… But I don’t like the idea of others deciding what I’ll do with my life…When I told them, I’ll decide my own future by myself! They all got mad…” He did leave, but he wants to make decisions for himself. He rebelled—not a simple “Se” move. He simply wanted to change how his family told him what to do with his life. That’s why he followed on GON’S JOURNEY: He was intrigued by someone his age with a goal in mind—a purpose… Killua feeling like a slave to his family is not simply se. Killua: “I don’t have things that I want to do, like you. I envy you.” “I was locked up at home forever.” “I want to have fun, like a normal kid.” ➥ “Ne can contribute to a persistent sense of restlessness or dissatisfaction. NPs can find themselves wanting to escape certain situations or circumstances in order to experience more novelty, freedom, or autonomy. They might feel compelled to quit their job, break off a relationship, or ditch a lame party in hopes of discovering something more exciting.” ➥ “Ne/Se users are highly adaptable, and focused on what’s new or novel. They can have a propensity to get bored when a topic or experience lasts too long.” Killua was locked away by his family, unable to have fun and explore. He’s a kid who wants friends. I don’t see how people don’t understand how this isn’t just Se. Killua wanting to get out and do something can be both functions. Let me ask SE voters: What happens when an SE user is less interested in fighting or getting thrills out of it? Are they still SE even though they perceive SE? Is it possible for an NE user to enjoy some thrills over an SE user? That’s the thing. I highly guarantee that if there is an SE user who does not enjoy something as much as fighting, etc. You’d all probably call them an SE user because they may be “good” at being aware and doing something in their environment. What about liking food or sweets? Or traveling? These are all sensations.. It’s thrilling to a lot of people that does not necessarily mean you’re a sensor because of it. As kids, many people probably played hide and seek, tag, etc. Everyone can enjoy sensations no matter the MBTI type. So don’t base your logic around that but how YOU perceive/judge things. Which brings me to my next point,
