This is a hard one to go through and mostly is... an educated guess, if you'll allow me. 'His ego is almost as big as Kelvin's.' -- Seven talking about Lash. Kelvin is shown to be a compassionate and well-educated on other's emotions person. He is that second half of an overly ambitious egotistical duo of himself and Edrick that became shattered in an expedition funded by Lady Geist, who believes latter figure to be the problem. Evident by Seven's spite -- there's more to that relationship. I have two leading theories: Kelvin is mostly innocent and is simply a victim to Edrick's obsession with the 'Apotheosis', allowing him to stay by his side because they were friends for so long he couldn't believe the hypothetical betrayal would occur. ESFP 7w6 would be completely just in that case, although it would rise the question of origin to his 'ego problem'. Kelvin was fully aware of how ruthless in his search of knowledge Edrick really is and was fully on board with it, looking for the prestige that being a legendary explorer provides to his aforementioned ego (thus the 2w3 with the social instinct). This conflict of interest has became the reason of their falling out and the reason he was killed by Edric ('Killing him never gets old'). As for Fe-Se -- he's an scientist-explorer. Incredibly charming one at that, on a level of romantic hero. Like Dutch Van Der Linde, in a way. He knows how to win everyone's heart, even if they don't have one. He seeks clarity, the bottom of the barrel on his condition and of what has happened, which I'll haphazardly address to Ni as he tries to piece the puzzle into one big picture.
