I don't know where you guys got 1w9 vibes from him, but he is more of a 1w2 - and that may explain part of the ISFJ/INFJ controversy. His energy is calm and peaceful. He is attuned to other people's feelings. He is friendly and agreeable. And he has that way of supporting other people very common to enneagram 1w2 or 2w1. In contrast, 1w9s tend to be more emotionally detached from others, also less agreeable and have a more intimidating presence. He may be very well-put together, but that may be more a representation of his culture than of his personality. Or maybe the 2ish vibe I get from him is because of his second tritype (2w1). But I personally see no 1w9 in him.
