"I wish Nikki loved me more than anyone in the world" ... the wish speaks for itself. Nikki loved him more than anyone, creating this intense self that would obsess over him to the point where she doesn't care for others AND herself. And this version you kinda feel bad for because she was created to love him and Bear is slowly disgarding her because in his eyes, she's too much. Bear never took the time to actually know her because of his obsession over her. Nikki was a kind person because she was a kind person. She was her own person with dreams and aspirations. However, she was messy and scatter-brained, and probably wanted to leave the group because of the mess behind Bear. But this version takes these very aspects of Nikki but makes them codependent, seeking approval of one person instead of her own. Freaky Nikki acts childish, possessive, impulsive and somewhat controlling. But the more she obsesses over Bear, he moves away and she doesn't understand why he doesn't love him back. What makes it worse is that the true Nikki is in confusion and pain NOT because she's being tortured... but because it's real and it won't stop. When the caller says "Do you want to speak to her?" and we hear her screaming, Nikki is not in hell or some hellish landscape. I imagine it's like a GET OUT situation where she's stuck in her own head with the controls taken away from her. At that point while Bear is in the car, Nikki has been standing for who knows how long in her own vomit, sweat and feces, Nikki is in pain and probably had to eat something while standing there... i'll leave it up to the imagination. Not only that, Nikki was assaulted by Bear along with the fact that her thoughts and feelings are being sprouted like a sprinkler. She is losing her freedom, and it's infecting her community. She wanted to leave to write and one of her closest friends couldn't handle the fear of rejection. Freaky Nikki is mad that her objective is moving away from her... and the real Nikki is in pain because she lost freedom.
