UPDATED: Despite its benevolent nature, it also has a slight sense of arrogance and sadism, regarding the others as animals while it is intelligent and aware, believing it is the only one capable of protecting the others. This "hero complex" is rooted in its childish Ti, Puppet is confident and childishly stubborn of its own internal logic. It trusts its personal reasoning above all else, which is why it can be seen as "always thinking." It uses its Ti to make decisions without the maturity of a higher-level thinking function. - Opposing Role Ne: Hostility to Chaos / Unpredictability. Ne irritates his Ni with “other possibilities.” This explains his aggression toward: anomalies, unexpected intrusions, anything breaking order (music box, think this as an unhealthy INFJ?). - Critical Parent Fi: Fi critic role = “my emotions do not matter,” (self-sacrifice by merguing with agony where William Afton was in) aware Se, unaware Fi. Also suppressing trauma and cold detachment from the pain he inflicts. This is where the self-confidence and sadism come in (not aware of that Fi). - Demon Si: his compulsive attachment to repetition (music box) somehow living inside a trauma loop and the inability to move on when someone gets on its way. After Charlotte possessed Puppet, she helped William Afton's victims find new lives. In the movie (Fi), we don't really see that side of Give Gifts Give Life, but in the video game (Fe), she gives souls a chance to get revenge by possessing the other animatronics. Henry's narrative said that the origin of his daughter, who is the soul of Puppet, is protective and socially oriented (the impulse to care for “the innocent”). Puppet's “rescue” of other victims, based on possession, is Fe in action: interpersonal duty expressed in ghostly terms, but somehow I don't see Fe as heroic but rather Fe oriented toward responsibility, because is on Charlotte's nature. Zero self-focus. Zero self-preservation. Zero “my comfort matters.” Its entire identity is built on: “The group must be protected. The innocent must be saved. The system must be corrected.” That’s pure SO1 energy. They don’t adapt to the system: they try to reform the system. Puppet literally decides what is “right” and “wrong”, protects the dead children, gives them bodies, dictates the “correct” order of the afterlife. That’s SO1 moral authority. That’s not SP1 anxiety. SO1 = “My duty must be fulfilled even if it destroys me.” Yep: Died protecting someone, continues protecting after death, sacrifices itself endlessly for the children, never prioritizes its own comfort, safety, or wellbeing, chooses purpose over survival every time. Puppet isn’t focused on “personal comfort,” “survival,” or “self-well‑being”. So the SP1 (self‑preservation perfectionist) motivation doesn’t match. SP2: May neglect own emotional needs while helping others, could become resentful if their help isn’t reciprocated or appreciated, more selective with whom they help. “I help you, but I deserve care/recognition in return.” They may find it difficult to ask for help, feel unworthy of their own needs, or develop resentment if their efforts are not valued. Puppet = SP2 because its caretaking is private, process-oriented, controlling, and about protection/rituals (music box, giving life, protecting souls). It protects through action and morality, not social leadership or public emotional labor. Aggression when order is broken = anxiety turned outward (6SX), not personal malice. Its Childish Ti confident, internal logic concludes that because its motives are pure (Fe) and its vision is singular (Ni), its methods must be the right ones. It trusts its own intellect above all else, even objective facts or the suffering it causes. Puppet does not see Afton's pain as a source of personal gratification, but as the objectively correct and logical result of what it has done. The quote “Seeing you powerless is like music to me” doesn't mean to the pleasure of sadism itself, it means actually the satisfaction of seeing its moral vision fulfilled E1. The Puppet feels justified, not guilty, because his internal logic (Ti) has overridden its suppressed personal feelings (Fi). The Puppet's Critic Fi is the reason he can be emotionally distant from its own pain and the pain it inflicts in others even if it's intentions are nice, it allows his Childish Ti to run unchecked with its moral mission, leading to a kind of cold, methodical cruelty that appears sadistic to others when actually if you look with more detail, you know Puppet has good intentions (just sometimes is a bit weird the way it expresses that, but it cares.)
Biografia
The Puppet is an animatronic puppet from Fredbear's Family Diner and Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. It first debuted in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 as the main antagonist, but later games show its heroic side. The identity of the soul possessing this animatronic is Charlotte Emily. It lives in the Prize Corner and seemingly gives prizes to children. At night, though, it’s no give, but all take (your life, that is). But there's a saying you'll treasure whilst dealing with it: "Music Soothes the Savage Beast."
