Biografia
Twikipedia (also known as Delta) is a 20-year-old rapper, singer, and producer from Niterói, Brazil. Before pursuing music seriously, she used various names to mainly produce beats and remixes, and explored comedic rap throughout 2019. She released an album called twikipedia during this period, but later restarted her music career with a more serious approach. In an interview, she said she was “not proud” of her earlier work and doesn’t recommend listening to it unless “you enjoy bad music.” At 16, Delta decided to treat music as a career, drawing early inspiration from digicore artist Saturn and their song omegle. After befriending Saturn and gaining access to their presets, Delta began crafting music in the digicore and hyperpop space, releasing her first serious album morre on Spotify in March 2020. She later released a compilation of earlier singles (previously only on SoundCloud) as the album songs and music. Delta has been active on SoundCloud for over five years, managing at least seven known accounts as of 2022 — although four are no longer in use. There may be more, but she hasn’t made them public. She also feels a strong connection to her Brazilian roots, often incorporating Brazilian Portuguese into her songs — notably in the verse on titles and in full tracks like inferno, senta, and campo. She frequently collaborates with fellow Brazilian artist virgingod. In interviews, Delta has stated that she doesn’t confine herself to a specific genre and prefers to think of her sound as uniquely her own. That said, her work is often associated with the hyperpop community, having collaborated with artists like ericdoa, angelus, SEBii, midwxst, funeral, MOL$, and others. She also produces for many artists in the scene and has covered Quinn’s song I don’t want so many friends in the first place.
