I can kinda see why this character would get mistyped as Sx6 because the movie makes too much emphasis on how much of a pssy he is, but Sx6s are still rationalizers with a strong super-ego, who are guided by fear of the world in general. Vinz is a monkey with no super-ego, he pretends to be something that he isn't, but it's not really like if E8s are immune to be larpers, he fits the unleashed chaotic nature of E8 way better and isn't really guided by fear itself, he's afraid of killing, which, mind you, is something completely reasonable to be afraid of, and I think most E8s would react like him if I forced them to shoot someone. And that's the thing, I think E8 has been dehumanized to a huge degree, which is why if they aren't fearless (In the literal sense) then they just aren't 8s. E8s are "fearless" in the sense that they are disconnected from their fears or vulnerabilities until they are forced to face them straight up, that does fit Vinz like a glove, he didn't even realize how much of a larper he was until the end of the film, when he got really affected by how it felt to truly be about to kill someone and what it meant: That was the moment where the shell broke. And I don't think this is how E6s are, Sx6s are conscious of how fake they are, hyper-conscious about it even, they focus on being it performatively because they rationalize their vulnerabilities constantly. Do you think this is how Vinz is? Ofc not.
