⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢⌢ ﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉୨ ˙ ˙ ̟୧﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉ ╰─ .⋆❀° 𝙽𝚘𝚋𝚞𝚊𝚔𝚒 𝙷𝚒𝚍𝚊 𝚂𝙿𝟼 𝙰𝚛𝚐𝚞𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝 ﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉﹉ ╰─ ꫂ❁ 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 -𝘚𝘗𝘖𝘐𝘓𝘌𝘙 𝘞𝘈𝘙𝘕𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘛𝘞!- Since I haven’t really seen any good or genuinely “relatable” arguments for Nobu’s typing, I’d like to share my own opinion, especially because he’s one of my favorite characters!! (Although Nobu doesn’t have much screen time, I’ll use all the information we have about him.) In my opinion, Nobu is deeply misunderstood when he’s typed as an E4. I’ve noticed that so many people in the typology community automatically type depressed characters as E4s and it’s getting ridiculous. We seriously need to stop relying on these annoying and harmful stereotypes. Not everyone who is depressed, self-harms, shows suicidal behavior, is “emo” or has been bullied is automatically an E4. Those things alone tell you absolutely NOTHING about someone’s Enneagram type. It bothers me how people throw these stereotypes around when there are real people struggling with these things. Mental health isn’t an aesthetic or a personality type and reducing someone’s suffering to “they’re depressed so they must be a 4” is EXTREMELY disrespectful. Typology does NOT determine whether someone is suicidal, depressed or struggling with their mental health. ????? (Since Nobu’s character deals with such sensitive topics, I just HAVE to say this because I’ve genuinely seen people call him an E4 solely because of that. And it genuinely hurts to see people reduce his character to those things when there’s so much more to his personality and motivations…) ᵎ!ᵎ Also please stop with the kin typing. Relating to a fictional character doesn’t automatically mean you have the same typology as them... ᵎ!ᵎ Anyway I know Nobu isn’t as popular as some of the other characters and I’m also aware that the last “discussion“ about his typing was months ago, but I still want to give it a try. So if anyone happens to see this, I’d genuinely love to discuss his typology!
