I really don't understand the votes for her as a type 2. for me, it's clear that her wish is not to be loved deeply, she's not asking for Dmitri to see her and love her because she needs his love. She's just proud, and hides herself behind her "ethics", just like a unhealthy 1. she made a promise and she's going to keep it, not because she loves Dmitri or pity him, but because she is too proud to change her path. because she uses her benevolency as a proof that she is good. she is reliable, honest, she made a promise and she'll keep that to the grave, for a twisted sense that by doing that, she's better than the others. I'm not sure about the instinctual variant though. Also, i haven't finished the book yet, so I might change my mind about this.
