I'm so struggled with Stannis so bad because of his way to see /his/ world and how it doesn't reciprocate. Love and respect are things he know he won't have like his brothers; Renly was admired and desired for the crown, Robert the same, but himself wasn't able to be liked. And it's like his doom. I like him, yet his being frustrates me. But book and series Stannis are very different somehow... and I do really hope he doesn't burn Shireen.
