This appears to be a classic case where somebody seems too "cool" or "tough" to be an INFP, but too "mysterious" and "thoughtful" to be an ISFP. So then the person is typed as INFJ, since it's sort of the middle ground of those two. But I think looking closer, we can see that's not the case. First, it's clear that he's not an IJ type. He shows no desire for structure, order, stability, or planning his life ahead. And he shows no desire for narrowing down his interests or hobbies, as he spontaneously pursues a plethora of things ranging from poetry to painting and so on. He appears to have an almost innate desire to keep options open, and to have the freedom to pursue whatever interests captivate him in the moment. Therefore, he's almost certainly not an IJ type of any sort. Next, we can see he's not an EJ or EP type. He shows no desire to conform or change himself to appeal to the group, and he also doesn't pursue the new for the sake of pursuing the new. Every interest or hobby he pursues is always in purpose of self-expression. Poetry, painting, photography, writing, acting, etc. So you get the sense that while he does spontaneously explore the new, he only does so after predetermining his own personal reasons for doing it. So we can conclude he's some IP type. But we can also conclude he's an IFP over an ITP, as his personal reasons revolve around his values rather than his logic. And his concern centers more around self-expression than a development of knowledge/understanding. Which seems to suggest Fi over Ti. The only question is whether he's an INFP or ISFP, and I can see an argument for both. But given his more broad area of interests, I'd lean more towards Ne than Se. And given that INFP has more votes on here than ISFP, I'll give the vote to INFP. Because even if he is an ISFP, INFP is still much closer to the truth than INFJ. Lastly, when it comes to enneagram, I'd guess a 4w5. I'm not as good with the enneagram though. So I don't have much of an argument outside of the fact that he appears to be very artistic and creative, with a somewhat philosophical and intellectual bent.

Viggo Peter Mortensen Jr. (born October 20, 1958) is a Danish-American actor, poet, painter, musician, and photographer. He has been acting in movies since 1985, but is probably best known for his role as Aragorn in Peter Jackson's film version of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, a role in which he was cast at the last minute and accepted without having read the books, at the insistence of his son. Mortensen grew up in Argentina as well as in New York and lived in his father's native Denmark for several years; he speaks Spanish and Danish fluently. (He majored in Spanish at St. Lawrence University in New York because he wanted to be an actor, and figured as a Spanish major he could get good grades without having to study much, which would allow him to be in lots of plays.)
