I don't understand some of the most awarded reasons on here. Every type will become frustrated and lash out at others at some point regardless of what their inferior function is. Every gotten angry at other people? Does that automatically mean you have inferior Fi? No, it doesn't. What is more telling is Kovac's own admission of the things he does when he is under stress and needs to escape. He literally confesses to a sex worker that he drinks, has sex with women, buys and drives a sports car etc to try to fill the void. He seriously injures a med student in a car crash by driving recklessly at a time when he was under severe stress. What's more important than the fact that he lashes out at people is why he lashes out at them. It's his frustration with people not having the foresight (Ni) to realise how their decisions would lead to a terrible outcome for a patient. Either that or his frustration with the constraints of the incompetent system he is forced to work in. That's why he quits as head of the ER! He can't deal with the system and having to make decisions that make people hate him.
