Some spoilers in this lil bit, but I feel like nearly all the characters have the potential to be misunderstood, like Dahut. She seems like an awful person initially, and she is quite flawed, but she was only trying to be what her father wanted her to be and keep her dear mother's legacy alive. When I look at the story from her point of view, where she had to carry all the burdens of Ys only to be betrayed in the end, I can easily empathize with her. Her story is really quite sad when you step into her shoes. It does not excuse what she's done or the debate over whether she's even a good person or not, but it does give some insight on her motives
Biographie
The youngest sister. She enjoys the pleasures of royal life and is eager to take part in palace intrigue. She also enjoys parties and uses them to deceive men who find her attractive.
