Biographie
The Jewelpet of Harmony and Family Love, Rald is a black and white panda who wears a dark pink waistcoat and a pink and yellow striped hat. He also wears a dark green jewel necklace. His birthday is on May 17 and his name is based on the jewel emerald. He is notable for being the largest Jewelpet. Debuting in episode 8 of the first series, Rald is an easy-going Jewelpet. He is good at playing musical instruments, especially the ocarina. He is awakened when Rinko convinces her parents not to divorce. In Twinkle, he appears in one episode searching for a "Sparkling Round Thingy" on Earth to make his wish come true and find his partner. His search causes Peridot and Akari a lot of trouble. His speeches always end with "Rarudo" and he refers to Labra as "Sempai". In Sunshine, he is in the Plum class. He is both feared and popular among his classmates, because of the effect his cuteness has on them. He appears in several episodes of Kira Deco. He's involved in the discovery of two Deco Stones. He turns huge whenever he feels lonely and adopts Luna in one episode in order to have some company. It's also revealed that he created a Jewel of Fate with a human named Miyuki many decades before the plot of the series; this serves as an example for the Kira Deco 5 to create their own. In Happiness, episode 32, he uses circus acts to make people happy, which gives the Café staff the idea to put on a big circus. Apel vetoes this and later gets stranded at sea with only Rald for company. They bond and create a Magic Gem.
