He’s an ISTP 8w9, not ESTP nor a 8w7. Why ISTP rather than ESTP? Because he is quiet, independent, and mainly relies on his own judgment. His Ti shows in how he carefully analyzes opponents and figures out the best way to defeat them. His Se shows through his excellent combat skills, quick reactions, stealth, and ability to use the environment around him. He does not need constant attention or excitement from other people like a stereotypical ESTP might. Zabuza usually works alone or with one trusted partner, rather than wanting to constantly lead or socialize with a large group. Even when he works with Haku, their relationship is based more on practical teamwork than social interaction. His plans are also based on what he personally thinks will work, rather than following the rules of the Hidden Mist. Biographie
As a missing-nin of the Kirigakure, Zabuza was a brutal and merciless rogue. In his lifetime, Zabuza became a Seven Ninja Swordsman. As a student, he not only killed other classmates, but wiped-out up to one hundred academy students. Through this act alone, the Hidden Mist banned this tradition, earning him the nickname the "Demon of the Hidden Mist". During his career as a Mercenary, Zabuza worked with Haku. Together, the two earned a living working from mostly Gato. Until they both were defeated by Team 7.
