at the very beginning, Yamcha was a criminal with a problem of extreme shyness with girls, but since his first appearance he said that, despite his shyness, he crave fall in love and get married, and after have became Bulma's boyfriend and defeat his shyness, he became the opposite of what he used to be: from a guy unable to even say "hi" to a girl from a real Don Juan, who tried to hit on other girls even while being still Bulma's boyfriend (trait that is showed better on videogames like "DBZ kakarot"), and that's the main reason why Bulma broke with him. Yamcha's biggest desire always been recieve love, and this is the main trait that will guide his actions till his last appearance on Dragonball super, where he wait for Goku to invite him to the tournament of power just to pretend to refuse and then appear at last second on the battelfield like an hero and so be praised by the whole team. Considering all this, good alignment make no sense for him
Biographie
Yamcha was one of Goku's earliest antagonists who would end up becoming his good friend, over the course of the series. He is also best friends with the shapeshifting, anthropomorphic cat, Puar. Initially, he and Puar were bandits and he was shown to be painfully shy in front of women, being unable to speak in their presence. And so, he sought the Dragon Balls to wish himself of overcoming that fear (he ended up overcoming it, without their help). He used to be Bulma's boyfriend, before the two of them split up and went their separate ways. However, they are still good friends with one another. Yamcha is shown to be cocky, overconfident and "not-so-careful", while in combat. Outside of combat however, he is extremely easy-going, jovial and care-free, not holding grudges or ill-intentions towards anyone, even those who had given him a hard time or painful predicaments. He is also a professional baseball player and is easily, one of the stronger human characters in the series.
