I adoreeee this man. Alan is highly interested in his research and cares significantly less about, well, anything else. He was hesitant to leave his work even when offered money, got out of a moving car to check on a dinosaur, noted the kinds that were carnivores or herbivores and so on. It's easy to spot he's SP5 (he doesn't have a need for recognition like SO5) and ISTP over INTP for his way of hands-on learning. He dislikes people, especially annoying ones, and is straight to the point yet genuinely enjoys teaching others about dinosaurs.
