Why E8 for him? The core fear of 8s is being controlled; they want to be individualistic. This completely goes against his purpose in London and his taunt voicelines. He's literally killing the players to serve the king and uphold his orders ("Deserters to be shot, the king's wishes!"), he even killed his officer for that reason. He's probably SX1, which can look like E8. Same reasoning for ESTJ > ESTP. ESTPs are similar to 8s in the way that they don't want to be controlled to have more options and be more open. Te is about structuring the world based on preexisting rules and laws and applying it to different situations, the Sharpshooter seems like a Te dom.
Biographie
The Riflemen (the shooter specifically is known as the Sharpshooter), are an (implied) group of NPCs in London. They are soldiers of the 95th Regiment of Foot, who appear in the bell tower, though only the Sharpshooter is actually physically modeled. He will shoot anyone in sight, zombie or player. This is because they've been ordered to shoot infected individuals and deserters. When shot, players will be crippled and will only be able to crawl, leaving them vulnerable while they slowly bleed out. The only way to remove this status is to be healed by a Surgeon. After making it to the entrance of the church, the players will be instructed to break down the barriers that holds back zombies and to close the gate to the tower, having the zombies overrunning the Rifleman, killing them.
