I took a look at the descriptors for the function stack of what most people voted for (ESTP) first to see where people are coming from, and while I understood the Se-dom, the Ti-aux/Fe-tert just didn't quite make sense to me. Ti is all about in-depth analysis, but Doug's choices are based more on how he feels, something Ti is more likely to shut out. From typeinmind: "Ti differs from Te (extroverted Thinking) in that those with Ti don’t easily make near-instantaneous executive decisions. They do much better when they have time to fully understand things and make decisions about them." That's not Doug in the slightest; he acts first and thinks later, and it's grounded in what *he* thinks is right, not what the world tells him.
