Ok, after years of hesitating between enneatype 5, 6 and 8 for her, I finally settled for 6w5, 683 based on the life purpose of the Justice Fighter according to Katherine Fauvre : Your life mission is to challenge what is unfair and protect the innocent and underrepresented. A true justice fighter, you are happiest when you can use your protective energy and debating skills in service of others or a cause. EDIT: I now believes she's an EIGHT based on somebody's comment on this page and the fact she's been supressing her child-like innocence for so long. There are several instances in the early parts of the first game where she simply uses her gut feelings to assess what's happening, especially about the true intentions behind the Purge. Also, you can clearly see Sazh's questioning her about what she knows about her and what she knows about the mass deportation happening in chapter 1. He is even shown to be much more animated in his facial expressions than Lightning, a typical feature for SIXes. She is just there to save her sister and enact revenge on the Fal'Cie who stole her away, a dead giveaway of EIGHT. During her expedition in the Vile Peaks, she doesn't rest and exchange with her allies, immediately resuming her mission to rescue her sister by venturing alone (like she did most of the time in the previous chapters). A Six would probably had banded with others earlier and seek safety through numbers. She slowly starts to open up to Hope after summoning her eidolon and turns into a mentor for him all the way until chapter 7. She frequently speaks about toughening up Hope and becoming this no-nonsense fighting machine to protect herself and her sister following the death of their parents. As pointed before, Lumina is the embodiement of her repressed emotions when she was a child and she only comes to term with them after the very end of her adventure in Lighting Returns. I could go on, but you probably get my point by now :P
