Here is my personality analysis about Hanako (SPOILER ALERT): How and why is she likely an ENFJ? 1. Introversion vs Extraversion: Why Hanako is extraverted? In her relationship story, she mentioned that she hates being alone, and likes having someone in company or to tease. She also did mention that she likes being around with people, making her an extrovert. "I don't like being alone. I like having someone to tease or pass time with." (4th episode of her relationship story) 2. Sensing vs Intuition: Why Hanako is an intuitive type? Her uncanny ability to read others is one sign of her intuition. Going back to her relationship story and other events in the main story, it has been shown that she is has high openness, is very imaginative, and likes to create complex & abstract things in her "confiscated book", which further proves that she is intuitive. "I mean I think a lot of things. How Sensei might react to something I do is certainly one of them." "Maybe I think about that so much, you could call it a habit." (5th episode of her relationship story) 3. Thinking vs Feeling: Why is Hanako a feeling type? Based on how she shows herself both in her mask and her true self, she is almost certainly a feeling type. Despite her scandalous and risqué personality, she is surprisingly considerate and somehow modest, and would tune down her teasing if the person she teased was getting uncomfortable. "I may have gone a little too far. I was just so excited to have someone I could relate to." (Vol. 3, Chapter 1, Ep. 14) 4. Prospecting/Perceiving vs Judging: Why is Hanako likely a judging type (and possibly prospecting/percieving)? Despite liking to cause chaos, she is somehow meticulous about planning her course of action, and her teasing is deliberate. She may cause chaos, but it is more like controlled chaos. Again, she does tune down her teasing once the person she is teasing gets seriously uncomfortable. However, it doesn't mean that Hanako is is purely judging. Again, she likes to cause spontaneous (but somehow controlled) chaos, which means she can be an ENFP as well. But judging by how consistent her perfect exam scores before were, this indicates high dutifulness, which aligns more in judging than prospecting/percieving. "Oh, I'm sorry, Sensei. Core: Type 2 (3 wing) or Type 7 (6 wing) Why type 2? It has been shown that Hanako likes to help and support her club members. In the main story, it was said that she intentionally failed the exams to end up in the Make-Up work club to support her friends and spend time with them. Why possibly type 7? She appears to like exploring new and exciting things. This is also strengthened by her teasing personality because she finds it really fun to tease others. "Mm. That was pleasant, but a little boring. I hope I'm not boring YOU, Sensei. Maybe you were hoping this little outing would be more... exciting?" (5th episode of her relationship story) However, because Hanako being type 7 is mostly just her mask, and literally intentionally failing her exams to join and support her friends was an internal feeling, her core is likely type 2w3. Tritype? She is likely a 278 (with strong traits of a 258, but we will consider both options first) Type 2 and 7 are self explanatory here, but why is type 8 and type 5 here? In the main story where Hanako interacts with Mika during Postmortem Part 3, Hanako directly confronted Mika about her investigation during the previous events that were related to Trinity's traitor. Hanako's genius mind and the way she investigated the previous events in Trinity shows signs of a type 5, while her firm confrontation with Mika shows signs of a typical type 8. Considering that Hanako was also a top student in her previous grade levels, it is also likely that Hanako could be a type 5 in secondary (though, it is still not fully clear whether she is a 5w6 or a 5w4). However, based on her core motivations of supporting her peers, she is likely a 5w6 secondary if we consider 258 as her tritype, with the 8 being an 8w7. She is likely sexual 2 not because she is lewd, risqué, and scandalous, but because she instinctively and secretly craves a one-one connection with someone where she can drop her defenses and mask.
